Kevin Loring is a member of the Nlaka'pamux First Nation, an award-winning playwright, and cultural expert. His first play Where the Blood Mixes, about reconciliation and redemption, premiered at the 2008 Luminato Festival in Toronto and won the 2009 Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama. He co-produced and co-hosted the documentary Canyon War: The Untold Story, and acted in APTN's Health Nutz and CBC's Arctic Air. In 2017, he became the inaugural artistic director for Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
